Lindemann - Yukon

Yay, during the long weekend, I had time and tried a few new things. I am a dummy!

So I bought acrylic paints with metal effect, gold, silver and bronze and I just love it!

In consequence, I created a motiv, in which I could play a little with these new acrylics,
and so I was inspired by the wonderful song "Yukon", which is about the fascination for the river and the gold rush.
Every time I hear this song, I have a sort of gold siren in mind, which lures people into the dangerous currents with her gold.
And that's the result, I like a lot at this, but also some things didn't worked so well.

The background is very rough and I have never painted such water before, and this is pretty clear to see.
However, I like the whole color palette very much and the siren has become exactly as I've imagined her. :D (Big Grin)
